RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Los Angeles County — The city will hold a Palos Verdes Nature Preserve public forum on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 6 p.m., with both an in-person meeting and remote participation options.
The event is scheduled for the Fireside Room at Fred Hesse Community Park. The city says its quarterly forum covers preserve operations, maintenance and ongoing projects while gathering feedback from hikers and other community members. The city and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy use these meetings to discuss visitor and management concerns.
How residents can participate
To join virtually or record a public comment, residents can follow instructions at rpvca.gov/participate. The official agenda is expected on the city’s quarterly public forum page, and attendees should consult it before drawing conclusions about what projects will be considered.
For questions about the preserve, email trails@rpvca.gov or contact the city’s open space staff. The published notice lists 310-544-5289 as an information number. Hikers should check separate posted trail closures; a public forum announcement does not guarantee every preserve trail is currently open.
